After selecting my fabrics and washing them the process begins with a hot iron. The center photo shows all the fabrics selected for the Memory Quit. The top piece will be used in an applique so that the winner of the quilt will be able to write in the squares loved ones and friends taken by this disease we are fighting against so hard. The cancer awareness ribbon, assorted colors, will be used as bridging blocks, a selection of all the purples will be used for the reverse side. The third photo features fabrics chosen to make a purple tonal 9-patch block quilt so that we can keep in mind that ALL cancers are as life threatening as the ones that get the most press.
